WHY DO CHEAPER RATES APPEAR ON OTHER SALES SITES?

When you find a ridiculously low room rate, often on unknown websites, it’s usually opaque and fraudulent travel agencies. Very often you start the reservation process and then all of a sudden it gets interrupted and the price suddenly goes up. It also happens that you click on the offer and when you arrive at the payment site, the price has also changed. The information is never clear, neither are the cancellation policies and this always leads to customer frustration, unfortunately often with the hotelier and not the sales website.

WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE HOURS?

Rooms on arrival are available from 3 pm and on departure no later than 12 pm (unless otherwise specified in your reservation). Any request for late check-out or an extension of stay must be requested at reception and will be confirmed depending on hotel availability. In the event of an unannounced late departure of more than 1 hour, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a penalty equivalent to 50% of the amount of the reservation. After 2 hours a 100% penalty will be charged. Without any prior announcement, and after 2 hours delay, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a 100% penalty and, if urgently needed, to remove your belongings from the room. In the event of an extension of the stay, the daily room rate may be subject to change with the daily rate, published on the website, being taken as proof.

IS THE BREAKFAST INCLUDED?

When you make a reservation on our website, you always have the option of choosing a rate with or without breakfast. You will find this information on the confirmation of stay that you received. If you wish to add it later, it is best to ask for it at the time of check-in. It is also possible to request it directly at the restaurant but we prefer to have this information in advance so that the teams can organize themselves.

Breakfast is served daily from 7 am to 10 am at the Café Bellagio. Unless included in your reservation, you will be charged CHF 30.00 per adult. For your information, breakfast is offered for children (if also reserved for parents, exclusively on our website).

IS THE HOTEL EQUIPPED FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

As our hotel has not been renovated, we do not have modern and state-of-the-art infrastructures in terms of assistance for people with reduced mobility. However, a parking space is available in front of the Hotel, all rooms are serviced by a lift and some rooms have showers and assistive devices in the bathrooms.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Your pets are welcome in the Hotel for a supplement of CHF 29.00 per day (up to 10 kg, beyond CHF 49.00 per day). Everything is done so that your little companions can have a pleasant stay. We provide you with a rest mat, bowl & pet treat.

IS INTERNET ACCESS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE HOTEL AND FREE?

You will receive the access codes at check-in to log in free of charge and without any data restrictions throughout the establishment.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE PARKING?

The Hotel has a private covered & secure car park with 130 spaces.

 

The prices are as follows:

CHF 3.00 / 50 minutes

For customers staying at the Hotel:

CHF 25.00 / night / 24 hours

CHF 40.00 / night / 24 hours (during the Montreux Jazz Festival)

 

The price can be added to your invoice upon presentation of the parking ticket at Reception.

For electric vehicles, 3 charging stations are available in the hotel parking (1st floor). The charging rate is as follows:
CHF 1,50 fix + CHF 0,25 per kWh
This Payment is made directly via the app (evpass).

We remind you that the car parks are public & that the Management cannot be held responsible in the event of accidents or damage to your vehicle. Places for motorcycles and bicycles are also available.

WHAT ARE THE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT TERMS?

The means of payment accepted within the establishment are as follows:

An ATM can be found on the 1st floor of the Hotel, opposite the Café Bellagio.

When checking in, you will need to present an identification document, the details of which must correspond to those of your reservation. A deposit by credit card will also be requested upon check-in to cover any additional expenses during your stay. For information, the amount reserved depends on the room rate and the length of stay, in addition to a lump sum covering any extras.

WHAT TYPES OF NEWSPAPERS ARE AVAILABLE?

The LoungeUp application offers you a wide selection of international digital newspapers and magazines as well as information about our Hotel & allows you to order your meals directly in your room. To access it, download the application & log in with the access key found in the Room Directories.

IS TAP WATER DRINKABLE ?

In Montreux, the drinking water network is supplied mainly by springs. Tap water is therefore a quality drink, flawless, healthy & ecological.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE A LAUNDRY SERVICE?

On request, and for a specific fee, we take care of cleaning and ironing your laundry. During the week, clothes delivered before 11 am will be returned the same day before 7 pm, otherwise they will be returned to you the next day.

If necessary or depending on the constraints of cleaning your laundry, we also have a partner who takes care of the dry cleaning.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO HOTEL EMPLOYEES SPEAK?

Our employees speak English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. However, not all of our team members work 24 hours a day, so your language may not necessarily be represented during your stay.

CAN I LEAVE MY LUGGAGE BEFORE MY ARRIVAL OR AFTER MY DEPARTURE?

When you arrive, it is always with great pleasure that we keep your luggage safe while you wait for your room. We can provide you with the same service when you leave.

HOW ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

Everything is done so that your children can have a wonderful stay. Our concierge is at your disposal for the organization of your family activities in the surroundings areas close to the Hotel.

The city tax of CHF 8 per person and per day is payable in addition at the end of your stay. Taxe is defined by the Municipality of Montreux and is subject to change.

VAT and service are included for all Hotel services.

WHAT ARE THE TOURIST ACTIVITIES IN THE REGION?

Many activities are available to you in the region: museums, historical monuments, natural sites, CGN cruises on Lake Geneva, cinemas, theaters, exhibitions, music festivals, concert halls, shopping, casino … For any information or ideas for activities, visit the Montreux Riviera website.

 

During your check-in and on request, you can benefit from the Montreux Riviera Card free of charge. This card allows you to travel from Vevey to Villeneuve for free, on VMCV bus lines and CFF trains. Also, services with a discount of up to 50% are also offered on tourist activities in the Region.

WHAT MEASURES ARE IN PLACE TO ENSURE SAFETY DURING COVID-19?

The health of our guests and employees is the number one priority for us, which is why, in line with our protection concept, we have implemented relevant measures in accordance with the specifications issued by the Federal Office of Public Health and with the support of HotellerieSuisse. As the health situation is changing regularly, our protective measures also have to be constantly reassessed, so we also ask you to refer to the cantonal directives of Vaud as well as those published by the Confederation. Guests without a valid QR code (outside EU) can normally send an email to covid.certificats@vd.ch to request a Swiss certificate with Passport or ID & all COVID documents in their possession.
